Twin Towers | Facts

When it comes to LEGO models, I find it hard to speak of scales, cause LEGO's brick raster makes it difficult to stay true to a specific scale if you don't want to build in huge dimensions.

So you have to cheat a bit or build less detailed, if you want to build a "500 meter high" LEGO skyscraper. Therefore, please don't take the following readings too seriously...

All data is based on the following scale: 1 brick height is equivalent to 3 meters height in reality, 1 stud width is equivalent to 2.5 meters width in reality.

  Model "Reality"
Height (total): 176 2/3 bricks 530 m
Height (Building): 172 1/3 bricks 517 m
Floors:   132
Width x Length (total): 100 x 50 studs 250 x 125 m
Width x Length (Tower): 24 x 24 studs 60 x 60 m
Base area (total): 5,000 studs 31,250 m²
Base area (Tower): 472 studs 2,950 m²
Skybridge I at height of: 45 bricks 135 m
Skybridge II at height of: 87 bricks 255 m
Span of skybridge
(total/free):
34/26 studs 85/65 m
